Bank Card Theft

<p>I am writing to ask for assistance with a very unfortunate circumstance that happened to me on the 26th June 2016.</p> <p> </p> <p>I was at ABSA on the coner of Esselyn and Leyds Street in Sunnyside, Pretoria, where i wanted to withdraw money for my laundry with my 3 year old son, upon approach a guy left the atm and had left his keys i turned to ask him if he left his keys which he said yes and thanked, i proceeded to attempt to withdraw money but my card was not going into the machine, when it did accept my card for the transaction i then typed my pin number and the card was rejected, he came back and told me that the machine had a new system and might be faulty, he said try again and in that instance stole my card and was dissappeared, i tried to run after him but failed as was i was carrying my son, i then went to lacate the number for the call centre of Capitec to block my card and transactions started coming off my card, when i got hold of the call centre as we spoke the lady told me that transactions had come off my account and all my funds were withdrawn, i reported it to the bank and they said thye would reply me in 2 weeks, upon reply they told that my pin number was used and my card could not be cloned and they could not assist.</p> <p>i am very worried that an institute such as Capitac Bank can do this to their customers, feel as if they work in conjunction with these *******, please if anyone can assist to advise me how to go about getting my money back from the bank i would be very grateful.</p> <p>i have all the proof of where it was ****** first from a ABSA atm at Sasol Garage along Rissik Street and then a cash back point in Pretoria Central.</p>
