Bank account closure

I closed my back account in July 2021, But to my surprise and my demise, My bank account is still active, card is still active, and my phone number is still verified, and there are transactions that are still running in my bank account, from July 2021. How many hoops, do I have to jump to close my bank account? This is the 5th time, that I have to inform a bank that my account needs to be closed. Something that has turned from being a process, to being a circus act.
