I went to open a bank account for my 13 year old daughter, I was turned away becuase I ddnt bring birth certificate. Today I bought certificate, it has my previous marriage Surname under my name. I tried to explained I divorced even before getting my ID, they wanted an original divorce decree of which I never received original but was emailed to me. I have an account with Capitec with my surmane similar to that of my daughter. I was refused assistance.

I am so disappointmented with the service, I have more than 10years using capitec bank to be treated like a *****ster.
