Bad service
I must say Capitec The Glen branch really got me thinking. On Saturday the 9th Feb we went to Capitec The Glen it was after 2pm, their was only 1 consultant and the teller @ that point. Not sure if the rest of the staff was on tea break or getting ready to go home. Finally the whole happy lot came out, took their time, like sure their is no hurry in South Africa. Eventually one of the consultants help us, Capitec doesn't open join saving account, but did he offer anything else, did he ask what the account is for no, instead he look @ the time. Then I requested for Power of Attorney on my husbands account, he asked for proof of residence and my ID, I gave it and according to Capitec only your bank statement serves as a proof of residence- I was totally shocked, I had a letter from Direct Axis and that was not considered as a proof of residence. What does my bank statement have to do with POW? Its pathetic that @ one branch you have a different story from the other,@ Newwtown branch when you open an account proof of residence is proof of residence. so I need clarity and need to understand this pathetic behaviour.
