Bad Bad Capitec

I am horrified and shocked at Capitec Bank for their poor conduct!!! Their service was great and the staff were friendly and helpful, BUT... I took a personal loan in 2019, I was retrenched not long afterward, I had insurance on the Loan, when I reported to Capitec Randfontein on my situation, I filled in forms, submitted the letter of retrenchment and waited. not long afterward the Consultant at the time notified me that the debt was settled. Great News! I have heard nothing from Capitec since that day. more than 2 years after this I start receiving letters of demand from KGB Lawyers, threats of Black listing and Tracers fees. I am shocked that the supposed best bank in Africa resorts this low level of operation. I had this insured, It was settled and I will not be bul**** into paying for something that was settled.
