Atm transaction deduct money from account without dispensing Cash

I withdrew a 1000rand from my capitec account from a gas station i spring 8 days ago. The money went of my account and the slip shows requested: R1000 and Dispensed: 0.00. I reported it within the hour to Springs Mall branch the same day and it still has not been resolved. They are telling that the gas station has to balance the machine and tell them how much tbey are over in money not dispensed....what chance in hell do I stand here...can somebody please advise what I should do.
