Approved for a loan with high installment

I had a loan with capitec before and paid it of. So I app**** for a loan for the second time and when I asked them to put the installment over a period of 12 months, she simply said that the system doesn't allow that. But on Capitec's site on internet it says that you can choose the term you want to pay the installments. Now I have this huge installment and they won't even try to understand my financial position. I am not pleased at all with Capitec bank!
