Appalling Service
On 18March 2015,I submitted retrenchment claim documents at Capitec Maponya Mall, and I was informed by Refilwe that the process will take up to three months to be carried out, and in the event of any query arising, she will contact me. I guess this was a nice way of getting me out of the branch. On 20May 2015,I went back, and this time around,I was serviced by a lazy Olly. He told me that no documents were received nor sent for a claim. He refused to supply me with their contact centre contact number and told me that nothing could be done. I then requested to speak to the branch manager -Sam. He asked me to re-submit the documents and he will personally re-submit them (mind you, 60 days has lapsed and no communication/feedback was given to me). For a reputable bank, the service I received thus far is appalling to say the least. I re-submitted the documents to Sam, and he promised to give me feedback by close of business. I guess on this particular day, Capitec traded for 24 hours as no feedback was given. I sent an email on 25May to find out the progress of the claim and my mail and text messages are now been ignored. This is worse than dealing with dept of home affairs.
