I did a bank transfer from capitec to Fnb on the 17 November 2017 for R526.40.I incorrectly transferred the money into a closed loan account. I was told by capitec to do a recall, I should have been told that the money would have automatically been reversed so the recall I was charged for was unnecessary, however the money was not returned. I was told to deal directly with Fnb which I have been trying to do after 15 emails two visits to branches and several phone calls probably to the value of my disappeared money, only to be told that capitec should investigate on my behalf as the transfer was done from capitec. On Wednesday I went to over port branch of capitec where the consultant told me to go back to fnb. It's an absolute nightmare someone between capitec and Fnb need to take responsibility for the missing money and return to me immediately. I havd also complained about Fnb who as yet still have not come back to me. I have now reported this to east coast radio Wendy knowler and daily news.
