Agism is being practiced at Capitec Bank.

We are being inundated with emails asking us to take out a credit card. I apply and get no response to the application. Eventually I get told that despite earning a very good salary and have investment in Capitec they say that I am too Old. Capitec bank are practicing agism.

It would appear despite my age and income I do not qualify so why bombard us with the requests to apply for a card. It is not that we want a large amount. Just to buy online due to the Covid-19 would be extremely helpful.

I am trying to decide whether to withdraw all my funds and go elsewhere seeing that Capitec prefers young people to us more mature clients.
