Advice not worth printing

I have banked with Capiec for the last five years or so. While I was in the branch I got the app put on my phone so that I could do more with my money. Whilst waiting I browsed through their advertising leaflets. As we are in the process of climbing back onto our feet I was particulary interested in the bit about improving your credit rating. They advise a revolving credit type arrangement in order to restore confidence into people when considering you for credit. My interest was piqued as I had previously been rejected by Capitec. Using my brand new app I wnet on line and app**** only to be rejected because my ID number didn't exist - which considering that it had been issued at age 16 and had always identified me before took me by suprise. On the Monday I sent emails to the CEO of Capitec as well as their customer complaint and customer service centre. I received an email acknowledging my request and advising me that a through investigation would take 3 days. On Friday I was phoned several times by a customer care agent as she couldn't find the previous application etc. Her advice was to go into a branch and suffer the humiliation of applying in public. All I want is to get to work on improving my score and following their advice as well as having a little safety net in these trying times. I don't have much faith in their marketing anymore as after four days of consideration I get a call from a call centre agent, who was not fami**** with the details and who then totally cancelled any gains by telling me not to use the app but to go into a branch. CrazY!
