I have a R500 adjustment on my savings account and upon realizing that I went to enquire at the protea Gardens branch, she advised the withdrawal occurred on the 01/02/2020 and at the set date I had sufficient funds. She called a department that advised the withdrawal occurred at JHB(CBD) and she could not assist any further and I did state I didn't make a withdrawal on the said date.
She gave me a brochure and I sent an email where I spoke to Rodwyn Crowe and he said the withdrawal was done at Baragwanath fnb atm and I requested a screenshot of the transaction since it was not on my bank statement he sent a screenshot that proved that there was no withdrawal done on the 01/02/2020 and then said I should go back to the branch for further assistance. I went back (Protea Gardens) last week and Spoke to Mpho and she called and spoke with another lady and she confirmed there was no R500 withdrawal transaction. My savings account is still on a minus balance yet they picked up I didn't withdraw R500 and my account had R3000 on the date in question. I advise everyone to be very cautious because I didn't receive any notification that there was an adjustment on my account oy when R150 was transferred into my account. On my 1st visit to the branch Lungile showed me a spreadsheet of adjustments and my thinking is people are not assisted and given lame reasons and end up letting it go. Why is it difficult to reverse the adjustment since it was confirmed I did not withdraw R500 between 01/01/2020 to date?
