Capitec Bank went into my account and canceled one of my funeral policy's without my permission on the 16/10/2025 The policy was for R50000, they refunded me R11300. I am not happy with what they have done, this clearly contravenes the Popi act. This only tells me that they can access your account anytime for their own purposes. If there was a problem they should have picked it up when I took the policy out on the 29/09/2021, there was no communication from the bank. I want to be compensated for the full amount and reasons why they had canceled the policy.
What capitec Bank has done id unacceptable.
