Account under investigation for 3 years

There has been a stop status added to my account 3 years ago , i have inquired with regards to on the 11/01/2016 and have been advised that according to the forensic team investigating my account that thee status can only be uplifted if proof of payment can be provided. the consultant has been advised that i am not able to obtain the required as i have been out of contact with the depositor for the past 3 years .However according to the forensic department if proof of payment cannot be provided , the funds will remain in their possession. This investigation has been taking place for the past 3 years , and to date i have not been given any valid explanation as to why. <br> <br> i am am utterly appalled at the service i have received as i have not even been advise that proof of payment was required 3 years ago in order to have the hold status uplifted . so my concern is that i am entitled to have my funds released as if my account has been under investigation for 3 years with no valid explanation to date and my money still remains in the possession of capitec my only question is who should be under investigation? I thought my funds would be safe at Capitec Bank.
