Account Related Query

I was at Makhaza Branch to submit a paid up letter for my loan account which was handed over for collection. I paid up my loan in May 2014. The reason for my visit was to close the loan account and open a new account. The consultant advised me that the account cannot be closed because their system is still showing \handed". I want to close this account and open a new one for the following reasons:<br> 1. Currently I'm earning my salary using the savings account not the main account because of unwanted debit orders that I have to pay R20 whenever I'm reversing them. <br> 2. I can't swipe the card at any garage or store because my money is in a savings account not the main account now I have to first find a Capitec ATM to draw cash which is very much inconvenient for me.<br> I called client services and CCS and none of them could help me"
