Account put on hold

I went to Capitec Newtown to open an account. I have a valid passport and a Temporary Residence Permit (TRP) valid for 1 year and renewable. The current one is valid until May 2016.<br> <br> I was assisted and I got an account.<br> <br> After a week I went to the bank intending to activate internet banking but I was advised that my account was on hold and that the reason was that my TRP had a stamp written \TRP CANCELLED"<br> <br> My salary was deposited into that account.<br> <br> The first TRP has that stamp"
