Account debited for more that 35 Times.

My father took out a loan with Capitec. He never skipped a single payment until he fell Ill and was forced to go on early retirement. We went to the branch in southgate mall and informed them of the situation and also showed them docs that he will be going on retirement and that he app**** for uif ,that there will be no funds available in his standard bank account. Also that he will settle his account once he receives his payout. Capitec informed that they are not able to stop the debit order and standard bank can't stop the debit order either without capitec. My father's account has been debited 35 Times from 7th August 2018 to the 18 September 2018 resulting in banking fees of R5829.79. When he was paid his uif standard bank took the entire amount for banking fees. Kindly note this was the only income he received in the last 2 months. I called the call centre as my father gave permission through answering security questions, they are not able to assist because I was informed by a team leader Peter that the debit order will go off once a month but it is still continuing to go off weekly. My father went again to the capitec branch and they are not able to assist either. Yes my father signed a contract that his account must be debited weekly but due to this unforseen situation he currently finds himself in, is this the price he must pay by the banks taking away his entire income and he has to pay interest on arrears also he is listed on ITC. Does capitec not monitor unpaid debit orders? How can he pay his account if his entire income goes to standard bank for unpaid debit orders caused by capitec?
