Account closed nothing you can do about it

My Capitec account was closed today, nobody bothered to communicate that there was an issue on my account. Call centre informed me that account was closed on suspicion of being a pyramid scheme and I should visit the branch who will contact forensic department. After an hour of holding on for forensic at the branch the consultant was told the same thing I was told and that I should forget about the account and the money because there is nothing I can do.

I insisted on seeing the branch manager who later phoned forensic again and they requested proof to which I enquired if the proof they needed was who was paying me or why were they paying me and the manager at the branch wasn't sure. For someone to ask for proof without asking what you do in the first place is ridiculous, how does one know what proof is expected when they didn't bother to ask what you do in the first place?

What I do is at total variance from the allegations but that's hardly the issue, the bank cannot close an account on suspicion of something then tell the customer there is nothing they can do, since when is suspicion proof? So the bank is the Judge, Jury and Executioner and to top it off they dont need proof
