Account closed for a year without a resolution, been sent from pillar to post with no solution

So early this year, my account was closed, cause we were in a stokvel, i paid a couple of people, and when it was my turn to get paid, the lady reported my account as *****, and was therefore close. Capitec has since closed my account from Jan 2019, i have been sent from pillar to post up to this day it remains on the hold status. At some point i was asked to speak to forensics which i did, who then advised me to go to the police station and get an affidavit, which i did, when i got the affidavit, i was told that the account remains on hold for further investigations. I am really frustrated, it has been a year and still no update on what is it that they are investigating that is taking this long.

Capitec doesnt care about their customers, they will rather act negatively on their customers accounts based on strangers reporting account, that are not even capitec customers. Other banks, dont just close a customers account without getting in touch with them, I find this act very unproffessional and no remose for client, no customer centricity whatsover. I believe capitec should have first called me and checked what the money deposited into my account was about, before they closed my account, since i am their customer. Thats what most other banks, do, before they act. To top it all up, no communication since, i have even given up going to the branches to follow up cause it is not helping.

I feel this should be a small claims matter, if she feels i owe her money, they report it to the court, and not to capitec. Capitec you are not the court, and your service is very shocking.

I need someone to call me and explain why my account has since been closed for this long without any explanation.
