Account blocked for no reason

Please please people. Stay away from Capitec. Three days ago money was deposited into my capitec account. I hadn't used the account for a while but had been assured previously that as soon as money is paid in the account will activate on its own.Went to atm and was not allowed to draw. [01-18, 10:02 AM] Renee Brown: I have had the same address for 25 years and the same phone number for ten years up until a month ago when my cell number changed. Not ONCE has anyone from Capitec contacted me I. Two years to ask or I form me that my account had a hold on it. Now I sit with money in my account that I can't access until ao called Forensics contact me ! Which they still have not as they have no turn around time set.: Went to the branch yesterday and was informed that there was a hold on my account by Their "Forensic Department" it woukd take 48 hours minimum for them to investigate why....after a tantrum they eventually contacted forensics and was told that FNB had informed them to place a hold on the account in 2019! Because of a transaction that I still know nothing about. Is this the way treats their clients? Why must I suffer because capitec is not interested in protecting their clients properly? Why am I suffering now because they just click buttons and block people's accounts for absolutely no reason amd without any consultation?? I am happy to say I have already discouraged two people from taking home loans with this bank I will continue to do so. I might not have a lot of money but I can still influence others. Disgusting bank disgusting service.
