ACCOUNT BLOCKED FOR NO REASON

Last night I needed to withdraw R7K as an emergency payment to a hospital in Zimbabwe. I went to an ATM in Cresta Shopping Centre to find the branch closed for renovation and boarded up and the idiots had also boarded up the ATMs adjacent. There is another ATM at the other end of this large centre. After a long walk I arrived to find it out of service. I then drove about 2kms to the next nearest at Fontainbleau centre but this ATM hardly ever works and as usual it just spits the card out after all info is inputted and a message that the transaction was aborted. I then drove a further 3kms to the Ferndale on Republic centre and after I had entered all my details found that I was exceeding my withdrawal limit. I tried again at a lower limit but this was also denied so I called customer relations at Capitec. The woman I spoke to said she had to send me an sms with a code before she could access my account and ask that I stay on the line. After about 5 minutes with no sms she said she would send it again but again nothing. She then said to hang up and call again. I returned home and transferred the sum by EFT with no problem. I then call Capitec again and the agent was able to access my account easily by me answering various security questions. He also confirmed the NO SMS's had been sent that day by the other agent. Today I tried on-line to check my daily limits, There is no way to do this so I called Capitec and the agent told me which pages to go to but every page she said had no access to this facility. She then said that the account had been blocked as I had answered the security questions incorrectly, absolute BS as I could not have made the EFT transaction later in the evening if the account had been blocked. I ask to speak to a manager, was put on hold for 10 minutes and then transferred back to the main menu. Total cost of calls to CAPITEC so far over R250. Capitec used to be the best bank in SA now it is an absolute nightmare.
