Access facility and Credit card

I need assistance regarding my Capitec Access Facility and Capitec Credit Card.

Every month I make payments before the due date so that the balance deducted when my salary comes in is lower. This has always worked without any issues.

In February, I paid: • R400 into my credit card • R500 into my Access Facility

I made these payments after interest and other charges were deducted as I usually do. I also specifically selected the option to lower my premium/installment at the end of the month when making the payment.

despite these payments the full installment was still deducted.

This has never happened before and I would like clarity on: 1. Why the installment was not adjusted. 2. Why my early payment did not reduce the deduction as it normally does. 3. How I can prevent this from happening again. 4. Was the deposited amounts deducted from the total that I transferred into the access and credit card

I have tried contacting the call center multiple times. On one occasion the call was cut. On other attempts, after completing verification, I was placed on hold and the consultant did not return to the call.

This is very frustrating, and I would appreciate urgent assistance and correction.
