A very disappointed customer

I have been communicating with the bank since the 6th of April inorder to apply for a payment relief due to the fact that I am on unpaid leave. During the first call, I could not hear the call center personnel clearly. She advised that since, I could not hear her clearly I should visit the branch. I visited the Mall @redz branch as advised on the 8th of April. The branch does not have authority to process my application, therefore they called the collection department on my behalf. The bank agreed to give me a 3 months payment break on condition that after 3 months I must start paying about R600 more monthly. I refused to accept the offer and my reason was that after the lockdown I will still be earning the same salary, therefore I will not afford the extra payment. I have asked the bank to communicate their offer in writing via email but I was told that is not possible. I told the bank that my life is being placed at risk by me visiting the branch whereas the are other means of communications available but the bank is refusing to use them. I was told that a senior personnel by the name of Kevin will call me to discuss this further since I am not accepting the offer. I have called several times to try and get hold of him through the collection department call centre number with no success. The only time he returned my call was on the 16th of April at 14:54 and I missed his call, and I returned his call at 14:57 and couldn't get him still. I have been calling the collection department daily after I have missed Kevin's call and I still have not been able to get hold of him. I have spent more R300 airtime listening to capitec call center music. I have also send the bank on email on Friday and still no response. My concern is that a debit order is due to go through on friday and nothing had been arranged. I am very disappointed with this bank that it cannot be able to give its clients a proper payment relief during this tough times .
