A BIG THUMBS UP TO CAPITEC BANK!

After putting many weekly-paid staff of a client on to Capitec, I decided to pop in at their Tyger Valley branch after completing my business at the Post Office directly across the passage. Their bright, modern, open-plan office was inviting and the young man on " door" duty was friendly and helpful and after being issued a ticket, I was immediately referred to one of the consultants that were available.She clearly explained all the costs upfront and even gave me an info leaflet to confirm what she had just said. Because it was a debit account, I only needed my RSA ID and all 10 fingerprints to be verified! To be honest, it was a delightful experience (yeah, I know...banking and delighful in one sentence?!!) and the young lady was on the ball and within about 20 minutes I was out of there with my new debit card!! I hate to bring race into the equation but I must mention it to bring context to the situation...an old white male and a lovely young Xhosa lady with the name of Norma May!! Did we have fun with this little South African quirk! I also mention her name to throw a bouquet of flowers in her direction and to applaud and highly recommend her to her superiors. PS Loved the "clean" look of their material and also the simplicity of everything. As they say. "Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication" !! Keep it up guys
