3DSecure transaction was unsuccessful. Payfast
PAYFAST 3D SECURE ERROR Incident# ***2 For the past week I am unable to pay online with the Capitec card due to an error that says "3DSecure transaction was unsuccessful. Please try again."
I get the error when I pay in 2 ways below: 1. I enter the details of my bank card directly on the website. 2. I log into Payfast and use the capitec details of the same card.
Capitec agent wrote "Please be advised that the merchant at which the transaction is being attempted is not affiliated with Capitec bank. This means that none of the cards issued by Capitec bank will work at this particular merchant."
What is the point of Payfast if my capitec card cannot pay websites that are using Payfast? Is capitec not accepting payment through payfast to punish the website not affiliated with capitec or just not accepting transactions through PayPal at all?
