2006 debt reactivated on my profile

I have once taken a loan with Capitec in 2006 for R4000, and I lost my job then, they took me to the lawyers where I was asked to pay R18 000 plus, I was garnished and never finished paying the money, I took them to Ombudsman, and suddenly I see on my profile they have now activated that 2006 account, what happened to the money I paid the lawyers, and if there is no third party in my account what happened to the money I have been paying?

They never communicated with me, can you please remove that old debt in my profile and tell me exactly what happened to the money I have been paying your lawyers.
