20 Days No Help!

On Friday the 12 of April 2019, I got a notification of a card purchase whilst I was sitting at home watching tv. I called their call centre immediately, told them the situation, got my card blocked, and they gave me a reference number. The call centre agent said it would take 48 hours for the bank to get back to me.

The next Tuesday, on the 16th of April 2019, I called and told them that I was told they would take 48 hours to get back to me but I hadn't gotten any communication. The story changed, now this call centre agent told me it would take 7 working days for them to communicate.

On the 25th of April 2019, I called Capitec... again. This call centre agent told me the case is pending but she cannot give me a date on when I'll get communication from the bank and she doesn't know when the issue could be resolved. I politely asked her what must I do now then she hung up the phone.

I went to the branch on the 26th of April 2018 to change my cellphone number and get a new card but they told me they were offline. So I wasted my time getting into my car, reversing out the driveway, and driving to Capitec only to be told they're "offline" - is Capitec Home Affairs or is it a bank?

It's been 20 days since I first called and still nothing from Capitec. Something gives me a feeling that they aren't losing sleep over my issue. Their staff at all of the branches I've been to have been friendly and helpful but, the majority of their call centre staff I have had the displeasure of speaking to have been impolite.
