No service and no accountability

First time here. When calling from your room, the staff promise to honour your request, you wait, but no-one comes to assist. We also ordered food, a simple burger, 20mins later, nothing, called them back, they tell us it's on the way up. Ten mins later, still nothing. We call again to speak to the manager, a staff member shouts to one of her colleagues and transfers the call somewhere else without even informing us. It's late and we're hungry with nothing to eat. My wife and I went to bed hungry. Appalling service for an expensive establishment. We visited a much cheaper hotel yesterday and their service was phenomenal. Fast with delicious food and friendly staff.

This is a deplorable and epic fail. This kind of "service" can and should not go unchecked.
