REFER TO PREVIOUS TWO MESSAGES REGARDING COMPLAINT ON SERVICES ON CANVA-PRO. NO FEEDBACK FROM CANVA ADMIN OR MANAGEMENT TO THIS FAR. NOW I UNDERSTAND WHY SOME PEOPLE WARNED US NOT TO PAY IN ADVANCE FOR A YEAR - BECAUSE WE WILL NOT RECEIVE SERVICES FROM THEM, AS EXPECTED.

WE ARE VERY UNHAPPY WITH OUR SUBSCRIPTION TO CANVA PRO. WE PAID R900.00 IN ADVANCE FOR THE YEAR ON 6 AUG.2026 AND UNDER THE IMPRESSION THAT THIS WILL BE UNLIMITED USUAGE. TO OUR SURPRISE SINCE LAST WEEK WE RECEIVED THIS MESSAGE WHEN WE WANTED MORE DISIGNS OR ADD ON TO CURRENT DESIGNS FOR OUR BUSINESS: Unfortunately, I can't generate that for you for another 3:26. If you'd prefer not to wait, you can increase your limit. We can still keep chatting in the meantime. SO ACCORDING TO CANVA PRO - WE REACHED OUR MONTHLY LIMIT. SO IF I MAY ASK - WHY THEN IF THERE ARE STILL LIMITS ON USUAGES ON CANVA PRO - DO WE HAVE LIMITED USUAGES?? FROM WHAT WE UNDERSTOOD IS THAT WE WILL RECEIVED UNLIMITED USUAGES. PLEASE ADVISE ON THIS, BECAUSE IF THIS IS THE CASE, THEN WE MIGHT AS WELL JUST WORK DIRECTLY FROM CHATGPT AND NOT USE CANVA PRO ANYMORE BUT THEN WE WOULD LIKE OUR MONEY BACK - AS WE WERE MISLEAD IN THE INFORMATION RECEIVED FROM CANVA MANAGEMENT/ADMIN. NEXT THING - CANVA MAKES IT IMPOSSIBLE TO COMPLAIN TO A HELPDESK OR ANY ASSISTANCE ON THE PROGRAM ITSELF. WE HAVE TO RENDER TO HELLOPETER TO BE HEARD. WHY IS THIS? IS IT MAYBE DUE TO THE FACT THAT MANY OTHER PEOPLE ARE HAVING THE SAME PROBLEMS AND CANVA DOES NOT WANT TO DEAL WITH THE COMPLAINTS? WHY DOESN'T THEY HAVE A HELPDEKS EASY TO ACCESS WHEN NEEDED? PLEASE ADVISE ON THIS URGENTLY. ISABEL JV VUUREN

Canva ticket number ***3 I paid for 12 months Canva usage and now Canva refuses to give me 12 months – they simply downgraded my subscription to the free option after the 11th month and refuses to refund me for the remaining month. Here’s what happened: On August 14th, 2026, I contacted Canva help to request whether my annual auto renewal could be processed earlier on August 25th. It’s supposed to auto renew on September 23rd, but I will have a bit of extra money this month (August) when I get paid on the 25th. This was explained in my email and the agent (human or AI, I’m not sure because the response was robotic), stated that they will try and move the auto-renewal date as requested. A few hours later, I got an email from the same agent stating that the system encountered errors and couldn’t change the auto-renewal date (no specifics were given). The agent then confirmed that the auto-renewal date was left unchanged for September 23rd, 2026. Yesterday, August 17th 2026, when I tried to use my Canva, I was greeted by a huge and ugly watermark on all my work with the option to upgrade my subscription. Confused, I reached out to Canva again and was contacted by a new agent stating that Canva had downgraded me to the free option because payment failed. From my bank statement I could tell that several attempts were made by Canva to process a payment WEEKS before the renewal date. This was not advised to me beforehand. At no point did any agent inform me that I needed to have funds in my bank account to simply change the renewal date. Irrespective of whether the renewal date remained September 23rd, 2026 or was changed to August 25th, 2026, in my opinion the fact that I didn’t have funds in my bank account shouldn’t have impacted the subscription as BOTH dates are in the future and no agent informed me that changing the renewal date or KEEPING the renewal date as is required any sort of payment from my side. So now, my canva has been downgraded to the free option despite me paying for 12 months which only expires on September 23rd 2026. The canva help agent’s attitude was extremely nonchalant and basically “oh well, make sure you have funds in your account or you can’t use your Canva”…. But I STILL HAVE A FULL MONTH OF A SUBSCRIPTION LEFT! They refuse to reinstate my subscription as it was and they refuse to refund me for the period of August 14th 2026 to September 23rd 2026 (a period I paid for but can’t use Canva).

I am a paying Canva user and I am extremely disappointed in the way Canva has handled the rollout of its new video editor. The previous Canva video editor was simple, intuitive, and effective. I had mastered it and produced excellent work using its drag-and-drop, scene-based approach. Without proper warning or a real opt-out, Canva replaced this stable tool with a beta video editor that is not functioning reliably. Paying users are now being forced to work in a beta environment with noticeable glitches, instability, and workflow disruptions — while still meeting real deadlines. This is unacceptable. Beta software should be optional, not imposed on customers who rely on the platform for professional output. What makes this especially disappointing is that Canva removed choice. A responsible rollout would have allowed users to: stay on the old editor, opt into the new version voluntarily, and be offered proper training or guidance. Instead, loyal users were left to troubleshoot unfinished software under time pressure. I currently have deadlines and am being forced to learn a new system that does not yet work properly. This change feels like a regression, not an improvement. Canva built its reputation on simplicity and accessibility — and this update undermines that trust. I am raising this complaint because paying customers deserve stability, transparency, and respect — not to be treated as test subjects for unfinished features.
