Disappointing Experience at Camp Discovery: Unmet Promises and Unprofessional Conduct

I recently attended Camp Discovery with high expectations, but unfortunately, my experience fell far short of what was promised and paid for.

Firstly, the camp did not deliver on the agreed-upon services. Communication with the team was frustratingly poor, characterized by constant back-and-forth exchanges. When we tried to address these issues, the response included unprofessional language and even swear words, which is unacceptable in any professional setting.

Moreover, the camp's leadership, particularly from the camp leader, Mark, was concerning. There was an intense atmosphere of ************ towards the staff, who seemed unable to make any independent decisions without Mark’s approval. This level of control was unsettling and created a tense environment.

Additionally, the camp experience did not reflect any progression or inclusivity. Instead, there were noticeable displays of white privilege, which was deeply disappointing and not reflective of the values or progression expected in today's society.

Lastly, it was evident that the camp prioritized monetary gain over providing a quality experience for attendees. This focus detracted significantly from the overall experience and left a lasting negative impression.
