Worst Service Ever!!!

I was travelling to home, and I stopped at Caltex Garage to fill up in Port Elizabeth, Motherwell as you about to exit PE to Colechester. I switched the car engine off, and stepped out of the vehicle to quickly relieve myself and as I was about to leave a petrol attendant came rushing and started to pouring Petrol on my Diesel car without asking if the car is really petrol or diesel, and nor did he bother looking at the display on the petrol tank which clearly said "DIESEL".

The attendant poured 28 litres of petrol, on top of the quarter tank I had left! Luckily, the car engine was still off, and the Caltex Manager (Anele) managed to call a mechanic to drain the tank before we could refill.

The mechanic proceeded to open up the tanks from the both sides and started draining them with pipes into two 20 litre buckets. Thereafter, he advised that we couls refuel but he didnt forsee further issues but if I get any problems I should call him or the Garage Manager(Anele). The garage manager undertook to cover any damages to the vehicle and/or warranty as a result of this stupid mistake and I advised him that once I get back to Cape Town I will take it for diagnostics and that will be covered by Caltex and any mechanical damages including engine will be on their account esp if my warranty was to be voided because of this.

I was so disappointed because the garage manager only paid for quarter tank I had and did not even entertain the thought of filling up my tank as a sign of good gesture esp after spending a good three hours waiting for the mechanic???

Further, their mechanic did some sloppy work cause he "forgot" to close the 3rd pump to the fuel tank after draining and for a good 15 mins drive we spilt Diesel from PE to Colechester... and we called him and he can and fixed it and apologised cause it was completely his fault.

I am now demoralised, tired and very angry at Caltex! After all this, they guts to be asking for fuel money after putting my life through hell! Never filling up at Caltex again!
