UNFAIR RULES IN A CALTEX PROMOTION
Caltex Fresh Stop were running a promotion during the month of December where 10 consumers could win R20000 each. I was contacted by the marketing department in January notifing me that i was chosen as a winner, provided I produce a valid till slip which i did. I was notified that i was a potential winner as my till slip was valid. Subsequently, a week later, i was called and told that i have been disqualified because i had won a t shirt 5months ago in another Coca Cola promotion, which was run by Coke. Caltex together with their store, Fresh Stop, ran a promotion with Powerade and Pump still water. How can one compare a t shirt prize won with Coca Cola in a tuck shop competition with a R20000 cash prize competition run by Caltex? They are totally separate entitys! This is totally unfair! Caltex, are your competitions for real or just a **** marketing ploy?
