I was a Caltex retailer but was kicked off the site to make way for "close friends" of senior management. As a result management achieved what they wanted presumably also for personal gain. I have repeatedly requested an exit letter to state something factual, i.e. my last day on site but due to the entangled nature of the incident that occurred with my forced departure, management are unwilling to issue such a factual statement on a letterhead. Typical of the behavior that has been ongoing with Gauteng operations for the past 9 years. Anybody reading this would agree that Caltex presence is dwindling due to poor management team in Gauteng. My request for the letter via many emails have gone unanswered. Hopefully top management will wake up and see the no care attitude of the team they have appointed in Gauteng.
