The Big Caltex Flex competition a ****

On the 25th April 2022 at 17h10 I went to a caltex garage at 50 Paul Smit Street to pour petrol. I was attended so well and given the best service by the attendant and I was informed that since I use an amount of R250 for fuel they are running a competition called the big caltex flex and I can use my till slip to enter the competition I should follow the instructions on the pamphlet they gave. I then entered the competition followed the instructions, lucky enough in the week I received an SMS congratulating me that I have won and unfortunately for I mistakenly deleted the SMS thinking it's those **** SMS I later realised it was the caltex competition I entered. I then called their call centre explained and I was requested to send an email and the receipt and state my case and Astron South Africa who is incharge of the competition will get back to me I will be called because they call the winners every week. 5 months later I have not heard from caltex regarding the win. Am highly disappointed in Caltex and Astron that they did not keep their word and it also means that the so called competition is a **** to and false. I really wonder if people truly win or it's just a way from them getting people to buy from the garages. Am very sad that they did not keep their promise.
