****** by Caltex

I’m very disappointed at the incident that took place at Caltex. I have been accused of leaving without paying for petrol at a Caltex that I go to almost every time to pour petrol based in Northmead…….I arrived last week Tuesday at the petrol station and an attended named Simphiwe claimed I left without paying for the petrol on the 3rd of December 2022. The slip does not show my registration and I then said I would pay if I can get proof eg. Cameras etc. the attended was then saying I must pay him because money was deducted from him personally….I then requested proof of this and it was not shown. I went to talk to the owners and they also could not produce the proof required accept a collaborated agreement from the Cashier that she saw me on the day. I have since paid for the petrol but this can’t be where it ends. Do you as business: - Encourage this process where you can show no proof want to claim funds from someone - Payment personally to attendants when they have made this mistake

I use Caltex because I’m also a Standardbank client for the points but I really feel ****** because I would never leave without paying my due.
