Refusing to take responsibility of their actions

On the 2nd of December 2017 around 4pm we went to Caltex garage in Empangeni by John Ross highway to put petrol worth R100 on a polo 1.4 trendline. Mr Snakho who was driving my vehicle asked the petrol attended to put unleaded petrol. We paid for the service and left. Before we could reach about 2km of driving the car started to kick and white smoke was coming out if the exhaust. We stopped the car and tried to look what could be wrong. He took another car and drive to the garage to report that we think they put diesel in the car instead of petrol. There was so much denial and running around and passing the buck . They only called the mechanic to come around 6pm they started working on the car around 8pm until after 10pm. After they were done they apologised and compensated us with a full tank of petrol. The car was smelling if petrol so badly we thought it would fade out in time. On the 3rd of December Snakho washed the car and opened all the doors for ventilation. It didn't help so he opened the back seat of the car only to find the petrol pump to be broken. He went back to Caltex garage on Monday the 4th of December to report to the manager that the petrol pump was broken. He said he would envestigate the matter and will contact me. Snakho called him again on the 6th and Mr Wade French said he is still busy with the envestigation but we should be content as he compensated us with a full tank and his machanic reported he did not damage anything.
