Petrol attendant blocked our car and threatened us

My husband, myself and our 3 kids (aged 1,5&8) went to caltex in mafikeng the one on vrygurg and ngaka modiri molema opposite home affairs.

It stated to rain on our way there, by the time we were at the entrance it started to rain with hail and we seeked shelter under a gas station (we're one can buy or refil gas) mind u there are no markings on the to say no parking or tow away zone or staff parking. So a few minutes under the shelter on staff member asks us to park properly so he can also park in, we did that and the next employee called Lesego came to ask that we move and it was right in the middle of the rain storm and we refused, little did we know was that he parked his car right behind us in a way that we couldn't move once it stopped raining. All this happened round about 17:15&17:30pm I'm not quite sure but all I know is that we were in a hurry to the pharmacy before it closes to fetch medication for my daughter and they close at 18:00. I went inside to speak the manager who I was told that he had left ready and asked for anyone in charge and they said a guy called Kenneth was the supervisor, he came to me and I explained and he called lesego and asked him to move his car and lesego point blank refused to, he left us there and continued to do his job and his fellow colleagues said he did the right thing by blocking us in. Kenneth said there was nothing he could do so I went back in the car where to sat for what felt likeife time, we tried calling customer complaints with no luck, his other colleagues said we will wait till 7pm when he goes home, I called the police and while waiting one of the staff members who wished to stay anonymous because she was afraid of her male colleagues came to give us the managers numbers, I called him and told him what happened, then he said he will talk to the guy to move his car its about 7:30 at that time my kids are hungry and irritated shortly the police arrive then we went inside to look for Kenneth the supervisor to my surprise he had gone home and s different guy was in who told the police that he heard what was going on and because he heard we had an attitude he felt we should stay there, the police asked him why would they do that knowing very well that there was kids in the car, by that time my 1year old is crying and screaming, he said he doesnt want to get involved and refuses to give me his name.

Shortly lesego arrives that's when we Learnt that he had gone home for the night and had no intentions of coming back knowing very well my kids were in the car, he said we had no right to park there because its not customer parking and my question is where was he parked all along and all hell broke lose, I'm sure about 5of them tried to attack us even swearing and insulting my husband to say he sends a woman to fight his battle the o Police lost control of all those men who work there but we managed to leave and lesego and his friends told us they will find my husband and best him up.

I have never felt so unsafe and violated In a public space and to this moment we can't help but wonder what would have happened had we not called the manager since the guy had gone home for the night.

I urge caltex to take necessary steps against all the people involved, I'm sure the cctv footage will support my statement and even expose the ones who refused to give their names. I took pictures of the car and where we were parked
