Not willing to take ownership of damage cause

I filled up my car on the 18th of November at Orange Street Caltex Service station(Peak Service station). The petrol pump didn't stop automatically when the car was full and kept on pumping petrol, I noticed this when I got out of the car to go into the shop to buy some milk. The attendant was washing my windscreen and was not present at the pump. In an attempt to stop the pump I pulled the nozzle from my car and pressed the trigger, it then stopped .In the process the petrol spilled over my car. <br> <br> In an effort to clean my car the petrol attendant, tried to wash it off with the window squeegee and in the process scratched my car. <br> As remedial action I required the following:<br> -Reimbur*****t of the spilt petro( I estimate this to be 3 to 4 liters)<br> -A professional Showroom buffing to try and remove the scratches.<br> -Some way to remove the petrol smell out of the car(after a thorough wash the smell improved)<br> <br> I have called the owner of the garage Ismail and sent him a few mails requesting a time to meet with him and the attendant to discuss the event and resolution. His response this far has been that I intentionally removed the nozzle from my car and thus it is my fault.
