Negligence

I was at the petrol station to fill up my tank the other day. I paid and left the garage. On my way home, i heard cars hooting at me trying to alert me that my petrol cap wasnt closed. When I made an emergency stop trying to close it. The wind banged my door and damage it. Then the next day I decided to phone the petrol station to tell them about the incident. The manager told me it was better for me to go there and view the CCTV cameras just to confirm if what I was saying is true. I went there and we saw that it was his petrol attendent neligence that led to the incident. To my surprise, he turned on me and said that, they didnt tell me to stop and open the door to go and close the petrol cap and therefore I should be accountable for everything that has happened to me. He was so rude and didnt even apologise. I have always trusted Caltex and always thought that they were the best in the industry in terms of service delivery until today. I have never ever seen such an ******** and rude manager like Faizel in my life. Please Caltex sort this thing out for me.
