I think that the fuel gauge was tampered with

Refuelled for R500 and my petrol gauge didn't move, brought this to the attention of the gentleman assisting me, the gentleman then escalated the matter to the owner of the filling station. The owner insinuated that there was a fault with my gauge and absolutely nothing wrong with their pump as it reflected the correct amount. Caltex tampered with the petrol pump and refused to acknowledge foul play.

I went to an Engen and then got another R300 in the same car just two weeks later and then it moves. I know that I need about R250 for the gauge to move, so I am sure that there was foul paly.
