Fuel Verification.

Hi, is there a way to verify the fuel being poured at the garage at Caltex Freshstop Lyndhurst because I purchased fuel yesterday and it never made my gauge show an Increase and my car shows how much distance I’m left with and that didn’t increase too. I then asked the staff member (Nkulukeko) that assisted in pouring the fuel as he said it did go in but maybe I should check my gauge as it might be broken so I left and went to Shell Garage and poured fuel and immediately, my fuel increased and my light went off too. I then returned to Caltex Lyndhurst and spoke to the manager and he said it takes an hour for the fuel to start showing in the car and I’m there thinking; I fill up here most of the times and it’s always immediately. I then bought another 3Litres of fuel then poured in a bottle to see if the fuel tank was pouring fuel and not blanks and it came out. I then poured the 3Litres in my car but it didn’t change anything (distance calculator and gauge). Since the manager said it’ll take an hour for the fuel to be visible and it’s about 17hours now I checked my fuel and there isn’t an increase. At this moment I’m just hoping I didn’t pour something foreign to my car. Please verify the fuel for those that will buy in the future because if I had filled from empty to full, it wouldn’t have changed anything.
