Double payment with no refund

I went to Caltex at Fordsburg on the 11 May to fill up my car for R200. After I gave the petrol attendant my credit card for payment which declined twice as their machine was not working. I then gave my cheque card of which I was told that the transaction did not go through. I went to the bank and withdraw funds and paid them. To my surprise the transaction had gone off successful on my cheque card. When I went to Caltex to inform them they referred me back to the bank of which the bank advised they can't dispute the transaction as it was successful. I have been given. I went back to Caltex garage and they advised they will call me back until today they have not called me. I also learned that I am not the only person who is suffering from the same problem. People must be careful.
