Double Charged for Fuel and NO Manager Available

My Husband and I were filling up on our return trip home to Port Elizabeth at the Caltex - 87 Victoria Road Somerset West,If i recall correctly Maxwell was the attendant, no problems with his service, the problem started with the Card machine not working, they then swopped machines as it didn't appear to be working, on the second machine, it worked fine, but we received two sms's and then transaction had in fact gone off twice, Maxwell asked the cashier to assist, She was very unconcerned and simply said it will reverse by itself, we then asked them to make sure with the ABSA call centre as we were traveling far and it was a R500.00 fuel bill, now R1000.00 we didn't want to stress whilst traveling.<br> She sighed and instead of calling ABSA, simply called another staff member from the back, we also asked for Management, they said they would phone the boss, they did not have access to a land line and had to use their cellphones, eventually they got hold of the owner/boss, he said this double charging happens often and it is a bank error and 95% of the time it is automatically reversed. Why should the customer carry the risk of it not refunding? It has been almost 24Hours NO reversal.
