Credit cards not accepted by Caltex garage at nite

<p>At about 22h45 on the 14/10/2016 went to fill petrol at the local Caltex garage.Assitant asks if it would be cash or credit?Credit please, need my reward card discount & do not carry cash.Sorry can not accept credit cards after hours.What?Why?Does not know.Owner locks away the credit cards machines at nite.
