Caltex CNR Aylesbury and Willie Van Schoor, Durbanville - Terrible service

Tonight I went to a CALTEX service station on the corner of Aylesbury and Willie Van Schoor drive in Bellville/Durbanville. I threw in R150 petrol but had forgotten my debit card at home. I approached the manager on duty to allow me to leave my wallet and its contents with her, or alternatively anything of value I had in my car. I also asked if maybe the petrol attendant that assisted me could accompany me to fetch my debit card as I live 2km away from this station. I was told no that I would have to go fetch my card and leave the car or call someone. I walked the 4km home, at NIGHT time at about 21.40 and in the cold air after the rain while I am sick with the flu. I also suffer from high blood pressure. I use this garage from time to time but due to this incident I have decided to never use any CALTEX service station again. I think that management on duty should assess a situation and the risk. I threw in R150 petrol - hardly anything to be this tough/strict about. On tip of this, I had items in my car worth much more than this and this was not acceptable. I found the lack of cooperation unbelievable and really hope that someone at CALTEX HQ will make contact with me. I am an accountant at one of the local universities. I hope that Caltex contacts me to at least discuss the matter and address it with this garage as I was highly upset. I also have 2 young children, whos baby chairs were in the car at the time of me throwing in petrol, Its unfortunate that this one negative experience has deterred me from using this brand of garages in future
