Bad Experience with CALTEX EMFULENI

I have received unpleasant treatment from the service at CALTEX EMFULENI AUTO. Address: Cnr Tanner &, Ma***en St, Vanderbijlpark S. E. 2, Vanderbijlpark, 1911 It was on Friday 4th February 2022 at around 13:00 PM. We went to fill the petrol at Caltex station. The petrol pump attendant left the petrol pump at the tank and he left to fetch water. The tank got full, then the petrol started to spill all over the place. When the attendant came back, he stopped the pump and asked us to pay. Then I asked him how much am I supposed to pay now? Because the petrol is all over the place. Do you want us to pay for the petrol which spilled off as well? He said let me call the manager and see how we can solve this. He went to look for the manager but he was not around, he went to buy food at pick n pay store. We waited for him until he came back. The moment he arrived, we could see the reaction from his face before even knowing what happened. We ask him do you know how much petrol was lost down here? My brother told him it could even be 10 liters who knows. The manager started to shout do you know what 10 liters look like? Then he told the attendant, I quote "remove 2 liters from the bill and let them pay the rest". Then I asked him can we at least do some calculations? I told him this car had petrol already (2-3 bars from the dashboard…This can be proved). “We are just filling the full tank because we are traveling”. Again, I asked him, do you know how much is the price of a full tank for this car [Suzuki Vitara 2018 (47 liters)]? He DIDNT CARE, he walked away and told the pump attendant to just remove 3 liters. Now from 2 liters to 3 liters only. I was so disappointed treating us like we are crazy people, walked away shout and disappear. We urge let's do some calculations to be fair. I insisted I don't have a problem paying, but I wanted to be sure the amount am paying is all for the petrol am buying for not spilling off. I had sought not to pay and take this further but I said no, am traveling and I don’t want any bad luck with our trip. But I kindly request CALTEX Management to take this matter further. I need to know was this fair? Can I have actual calculations of how much I was supposed to pay? I end up paying 912.38 rands (which was equivalent to 45.301 liters @ R 20.14. Mind you the car had petrol already which could take me between 50-80km. I have been using Caltex for my services for years and receiving that Unprofessional treatment I was extremely disappointed. I can provide necessary information whenever needed and proof of my receipts and km etc to assist further with calculations etc.
