Disappointed

I bought a pair of sandals from call it spring last month at the Pavilion. They were quite expensive but because I loved them so much I spent the R600 for slip ons. I wore them once and they got dirty, I gently washed them and they turned looked like I had had them for a year. I tried one more wash and that's why I'm so upset that I spent R600. I'm so disappointed. This doesn't sit well with me, I need answers, a refund or exchange. I read their terms and conditions but it seemed more like a trap because I have to wash the shoes. Why would you sell shoes that ruin after 1 wash??? This is very unfair and should I not receive a refund or exchange this will not be the last you hear of me.
