Poorly built apartments by Calgro M3
I bought an apartment in a new development complex, in Scottsdene earlier this year. When i moved in, there were still a lot of empty apartments including the one above me. From the day those people moved in, I have had no peace because these flats are so poorly built.
I can hear every damn thing happening in the other units, especially the one above me. From a toddler running around and banging toys on the floor to moving furniture around and what they are watching on TV.
I have lived in a complex before and have never experienced such. If you were considering buying property built by Calgo, please don't! They're in it for the money, not to provide homes.

We firstly want to thank you for purchasing a property from Calgro M3 Develeopments and we really feel sad with you that you are unhappy.
Buying into a sectional title scheme, you buy into very close proximity to your neighbors. Yes, you will hear your neighbors including movement from the unit above specially if they do not have carpets in the units.
This is not a building issue.
I want to suggest you have a nice sit down with your upstairs neighbor and perhaps share with him your frustration, maybe you could come up with a solution. If you cannot consider writing to your Managing Agency voicing your disturbance issue.
The slab used when constructing the building was a 100 % approved by the Building Inspector and is according to the building regulations.
