Joburg Water vs Calgo - Water meter

<p>I have a query with regards to the water meter that was never installed at my house. I followed up with the Calgro office in Fleurhof for months on end regarding a leaking water pipe, which was only resolved after I got in to contact with the counsellor. Because of that pipe, my meter was never installed. I followed up with JHB water, who told me they only take over once the meter has been installed by the developer (Calgro). I followed up until I also just gave up because I was told that my meter has not been delivered, and that was the story for months. Now JHB water is threatening to cut my water and are demanding a payment of R6000. What should I do now? Who is going to pay that money and will I ever have a meter? Can Calgro just step in and do right by it's client? I'm not impressed</p>
