Chocolates not fresh
Good Day, Last week I bought 2 boxes of 12 x80g wholenut chocolates from an Ethiopian wholesaler. Although the bb date on the boxes is 06/2021 the chocolates were not fresh as the colour was changing and the texture was not smooth. I tried bringing this to their attention but because the bb date is valid they refused to refund my money. I paid R140 per box of 12. I had to eventually give them away. It will be appreciated if this can be looked into. Thank You. A Omar

11 Feb 2021, 15:07Good Day. After sending this same complaint to Modelez they responded positively. It was no fault of Modelez in the change in texture of chocolates. The seller whom I bought from did not store them correctly. Mondelez, as a gesture of goodwill offered to send me vouchers, which they not obliged to as the fault was not theirs. Thank You Mondelez. For me your Whole Nut chocolate is still the best.
